First off, let me note that for those of you who I talk to on a regular basis on here, I may have mentioned this concept to you in our conversations. For those of you who do not, I have been working on trying to figure out an Industrial/Cyber/Goth outfit, based off of specifically Leeloo's one piece from 'The Fifth Element'. I am also designing it to incorporate elements from items such as suspenders, a climbing harness (for the lower section) and actually the back of a bra that also fits into clothing of this genre.

Now, on to some information about the drawings:

Okay, so the left image is the concept for the front. It isn’t done yet, I haven’t decided completely on how I want to do it. I like the industrial design of straight lines, but I’m not 100% on it yet. At the waist is a 4 inch wide belt, running all the way around front to back. The bottom half (below the waist) is based off of climbing harnesses. The two thick bands on the thighs are 2 inch wide straps, while the straps in the front are adjustable 1 inch straps, and the back will be 1 inch elastic, also adjustable. Everything will be fully adjustable with a slider thingy (like on messenger bag straps). For the belt, I am going to add belt loops so I can wear a normal belt on it for accent, plus smaller belt loops so glowsticks can be woven into it for effect.
The suspenders (the parts that go from the belt up over the shoulders) will be 2 inch thick material, as well as the middle strap in the front. In the back, they will continue down as 1 inch thick straps to the shoulderblade strap that wraps around the ribcage. It will be made of dual or triple 1 inch straps, spaced for effect.
The neck will be a 1.5 inch wide necklace, made of the same strap material as the rest of the outfit. The two shoulder pieces coming out of the neck strap will be 2 inch or 3 inch material. All the rest of the strapping will be 1 inch material. Everything from the chest straps up will be a nonstretching material (like seatbelt material, but softer), and the straps in the back below that level will be made of elastic, probably 3 or 4 inches wide.
The entire outfit will be ran with channeling for those glow necklaces, to accent the outfit and add some cool effects to it. If I can, I’m actually going to change out the glowstick channels with some kind of battery powered light system, which will be WAY awesome.
I can’t decide if I like the straps that wrap around in the X configuration, but I’m not sure if it would look good without them. Let me know what you think, and any changes you think may be useful.
