So proud we stand
Too proud to admit our flaws,
Too proud to admit defeat
So proud it hurts
Hurts our government, our country, our world
Yet we still remain too proud to change it
So greedy we are
Too greedy to give our spare change to the poor
Too greedy to spare a dime to feed the hungry
So greedy we shut others out
We make them suffer in poverty
While we keep taking and taking
So gluttonous we are
Stuffing our faces with food, candy, chocolate
Consuming ten times our share
So gluttonous we let third world countries starve
They starve while we stuff our faces
Obesity is our second highest cause of death
So lazy we are
To get up to change the channel
Or answer the phone
It’s too much
so we have remote controls, cellular phones
And even cruise control
So lustful we are
Where sex has no meaning
And can be bought for cash
So lustful we spread AIDS
Like butter on bread
And we hide it all behind the doors of strip clubs
And closed curtains
So envious we are
Always wanting everything
Never happy with what we’ve got
So envious that we look down upon ourselves
The grass is always greener
Until it gets trampled by too many feet
So angry we are
We pay to see people fight
And we call them champions
So angry we hate it
And our anger hates everyone else
Angry enough to drop the only nuclear weapon in history
So sinful we are
Basing our lives on what is evil
And ignoring the ideals of older times
So sinful we are
We see someone raped and step into the shadows
Too fearful someone will see our sins too
Sinful we should die from it

I sense a hint of political questioning...
The nuclear bomb line stands out. I'm assuming that that's intentional.

Let me break it down till I force the issue
We miss your face and you know I wish you would
Come back down to the Delva Bar
You said "That's just my battle scar"
I wanna kiss you, and knock them down like we used to...

I see the seasons changing,
And in the heart of this autumn I fall,
With the leaves from the trees.
